According to an Associated Press dispatch there is a new technology, ordered by Congress and invented by military researchers, which uses music to cue pilots when they’re in danger of losing control. The technology manipulates the volume of music in stereo headphones worn by a pilot to warn of an aircraft’s roll without the pilot having to look at visual instruments. No word yet if the RIAA will be seeking performance royalties from the Air Force.
